What exactly gives you the assurance that they wouldn’t do you dirty again. Do you genuinely believe they’ve changed the attitude and behaviours that made them your ex in the first place. Because if somebody plays me once, I’d be a fool to willingly go back and give them another opportunity. Some lessons are meant to be learned, not repeated. Each to its own though
