Finished my NYSC around May, finally I got a job as an assistant admin and the pay is #100k and I think I like it for now because I’m learning at it. So my boss asked if I could get a person he needs a virtual tutor, I said I have no one but I’ll keep in mind of that. I served in a school so I reached out to a fellow colleague whom we served together at said school if she might be interested since it’s not a group teaching rather 1 or 2 child a day each 1hr per session. She came for interview afterwards and complained the pay is poor. I asked how much they offered she said #120k. I muted in my head🥲💔 I was seeing my #100k as big for a start. Mind you my rent is #700k and she herself wanted to squat with me.
