I hate the fact that I don’t come from a close knit family where we can talk about anything and everything. In my house sex, periods, and anything related to that is a taboo to speak on. I’m having serious hormonal imbalance and there’s no one I can tell. My mother cringes up anytime period is mentioned she doesn’t even say the word, she bought a book for my sisters and I to avoid talking about it. I’m the first daughter and my sisters come to me for advice, there’s no one I can go to, I hate it.
