My mum is an alcoholic. My dad left for years and she blames it on him. She said she will never stop and she doesn’t want help. Her eyes are beginning to turn yellow and she doesn’t eat. She speaks so disoriented. People have asked if she is mad. I’m the first child and I’m tired. I have told her people leave their partners and become better versions of themselves. She has chosen to become the worst version of herself. Everyday I live in panic and fear.
