Omo! 9-5 ain’t for the weak. Honestly, wasn’t what I expected at all. From the stress of commuting to work, to having to talk and fake smiles to colleagues that won’t think twice before throwing one under the bus, or the office politics. Even the stress of pretending to be busy so you won’t be seen as idle 😂 or the subtle competition amongst workers. Or that one colleague you’re secretly jealous of just because she’s in the center of all tasks happening. Being in meetings you don’t even understand what they’re saying and just nodding your head so they think you’re engaged. Not forgetting the traffic on your way back home.
