My boyfriend and I once got into an arguement which I insulted and shouted at him and he slapped me, I am the type of lady that doesn’t tolerate domestic violence at all, but he was really remorseful and he asked for forgiveness, this happened a year ago and we moved on from this. Now he is talking about marriage but my mind still rings to that slap, what if he is pretending and that’s how he is, he has never raised his hands on me before and me shouting at him was also my fault, he loves and cherish me a lot, but my mind is just saying what if he starts slapping me during marriage 😭because they say if a man raises his hands on you he will do it again.
