My girlfriend has been complaining about changing her phone, and I told her to keep calm about it that we are going to save together to get her a new one by the beginning of next year. Then she brought up a topic all of a sudden that an elderly man wants to change the phone for her but she has to accept to his terms and conditions which we all know what it involves. And I overreacted about her telling me by saying “you have already decided what to do, anything I say now might not be valuable” and she got angry. I told her how desperate is she about getting a phone that she can’t just wait till we save up more. I continued by saying no man will give you something for free without wanting something back, she concluded by saying “maybe when I get rich I will understand that other men can do it” I was amazed by this response and I told her I can’t continue in this relationship.
