Been dating this man for a month and honestly, I’m tired. He’s 34 years old but finished school last year and finished service January this year. Regardless, he has a good job and a very good business and is very stable. However, he has too many issues. He stays in the area of his university and is very much invested in the local gossip and happenings of that area. It’s so annoying, whenever he’s talking about the cheap gossips and how everyone in the area is wondering what’s going on between us, I always feel like slapping some sense into him. Like bro, you’re almost 35, grow the fuck up. One time we were driving into his street, and I tried holding his hands, he quickly pushed my hands away that he’s an “icon” in this place. That’s not the only problem. I’m very much into skincare, so I guess he was feeling he needed to match my energy, he decided to buy the exact same skincare I use, when I was checking out his products to see the once he got, I noticed that he was hiding some perfumes from me. It just really irked me on levels I never knew existed. Then he believes in weird gender roles. I slept over in his place one time and he was “telling me how to be a woman”. That immediately I wake up, I should do all the house chores, then when I’m done, I should come and wake him up to figure out what we’ll make for breakfast. I’ve not slept in his house ever since.
