I have this secondary school friend that has been sick for years. It’s been 10 years we left school and we were quite close then! He calls me for money and I assist him with the little I have. I blocked him due to his constant calls, i was very mad at him and forgot to unblock him. I lost my job, was fighting my demons, didn’t want to touch my savings, I don’t know how long it will take me to get another job. I opened Facebook after one week and found out he died. Could he have survived if I sent him some money. Was it hunger that killed him. I feel so guilty, It’s been 4 days and I haven’t sent my condolence on our class group.
