Just read ‘r@ped’ and recalled how in my first year in the university someone I considered a friend for over 3 years tried to rape me, I was lucky to have escaped, went home and never spoke about it till a year later and that was when I started feeling traumatized for the whole event. Sometimes these things take time to kick in.
