I reconnected with an old friend few years back, and I noticed she’s always wanting to know my moves. If I buy anything she’ll want to buy the same thing, whatever I get she’s asking the price so she can rate me. She’s never had a birthday party, but I invited her to mine, now all of a sudden she wants to do the exact same kinda birthday. Even to the point of texting my cousin to ask her where she got my birthday gifts. I don’t know if it’s admiration or competition at this point. I stopped telling her how much I got my stuff though. I’m never blessed with genuine friends, always competitive girls and it’s frustrating.
