Recently, I realized it was time to settle down. I reached out to one of my oldest friends, flew her into my city, we had an amazing time, I told her I was ready for marriage and I wanted to go on this next phase with her. She laughed in my face and said “What makes you think I will settle for a man who dated my close friend. If I was not good enough then to be in a relationship with you I sure as hell don’t want your last resort marriage”. I thought you guys said marry your best friend innit 🤷🏽‍♂️
