At 29, I just graduated because I had no support until my boyfriend came along. Now he’s proposing marriage but I’m jobless. I pointed this out many times but he wouldn’t acknowledge my perspective. I met his father today, after realising I’m still job-hunting, he said “and you wan marry” with a sneer. I hope my partner sees now that I’m not ready and waits.
