My wife finds it hard to open up and be vulnerable. I don’t know if it’s an ego thing or she’s just avoidant. Whenever we have an issue, she shuts down or wants her space. I’m getting tired of being the only one trying to resolve things and make sure we’re in good terms. I crave consistent closeness and connection, but she’s unable to give that without eventually pulling away. This has affected my work. I’m drowning, genuinely tired and falling out of love with her.
