From what I’ve seen, poor people miss out on so many potential opportunities (likely because of fatigue, caged mentality, appearance, inarticulacy, and more). Someone once begged me for a job, and what she could do or what she’s proficient at, she couldn’t say anything coherent. The opportunity presented itself and for whatever reason, she lost it. My advice: Please always show up. Pretend like you belong. Have 1-3 nice-looking, non-street clothes you can wear in certain spaces. Be coherent. And always pray. Often times, you have more skills in your arsenal than these “rich” folks. A lot of them don’t even know how to edit a PDF.
