My new neighbour turned friend asked my husband for money during the period she and her husband had issues and wasn’t in the house, she didn’t tell me about it and during that period I helped in the little way I could. When my husband later told me, I asked her why she didn’t go through me, she said my husband said she shouldn’t tell me because I won’t understand but I felt she should have still told me regardless. Though she apologised, I feel it’s not genuine because she justified by saying I’d have done same if I was in her shoes and why am I talking like she wants to date my husband. The talk came up because my husband told me she asked for help again but he told her to tell me about it.
