Been with my partner 8years now, married for 1year. We had a fight over the weekend over stupid pettiness and she said ‘one day we will tell ourselves the truth’ I asked what it meant and she said that we aren’t compatible. In the past, she has said this incompatible thing before and that she can never love me in the way that I want and other things along the same line. I’ve asked her for a divorce but she’s never willing to follow through. She would apologize after a few hours and gaslight me for bringing up divorce. She’s pissed me off again and I drove out, I’m thinking of this compatible thing, she may be right. We have too many things intertwined (businesses and properties) but one day, I know I will have the courage to go to a divorce lawyer, arrange myself and ensure that I never ever get myself involved with anyone that is not compatible with me.
