My confidence is at an all-time low. Lately, I find myself avoiding eye contact and feeling out of place in social settings, like I should run back home. A friend suggested I face my fears to train my brain to stop avoiding discomfort. They even recommended rejection therapy—doing things like applying for jobs or talking to people just to get rejected. It sounds cringe but might help. So, if a stranger does something awkward, it’s probably me trying this out 🥲
