I was with my ex for over 4 years, during which I handled all the financial responsibilities—food, shelter, etc & even funding his hustle to help him improve. Despite my efforts, nothing worked out. In our 4th year, we decided to part ways as the combined expenses were holding me back from reaching my personal & financial goals. A year later, he’s become very successful, while I’m now in a relationship heading towards marriage with someone who’s on the same level as me. Now, I’m unsure if I should reconsider things with my ex, who is still single.
