I visited my best friend and she took some pictures of me and posted me on her WhatsApp status and one of her ex saw it. Coincidentally, we lived in the same neighbourhood, I was going out with my cousin to the nearby market to get something this faithful day and he stopped me and asked for my name. He was okay, not like I liked him or anything cause he told me that he saw me on her status and everything so I was kinda relaxed, he didn’t come out forced or anything. We started talking that evening and figured we had the same interest in leaving the country, he was nice but I never saw him as anything more than a friend. He moved a year before me to the US and when he moved we lost contact cause we had a little fight before he moved. When I was in the US I went shopping and fate had it we met each other again, I was shocked but he wasn’t shocked so I thought he didn’t really want me there just for him to tell me weeks later that he knew I was in Texas so he moved to the state permanently, he got a house and helped me rent an apartment not far away from him. Fast forward to when we started dating, he became so clingy, not that I was complaining but wanted to just lock me up, told me not to get a job and everything but I disagreed cause I won’t let my degree go to waste, I studied architecture for Christ sake. He knew my boss got me fired then also started going around with other girls, this didn’t hurt cause I was prepared to leave him but the fact that he cheated on he with a white obese girl like bruh I’m not racist or fat phobic but tf and I’m visiting my mom right now in Nigeria and he’s already talked to her about getting married to me, my parents are divorced but he paid the bride price already to my dad like bruh is that possible
