My fiance is very calm, caring and considerate man. He has made lots of sacrifices for me through the years. The problem is he had a traumatic childhood growing up with his uncle and his wife which made him develop low self esteem. I always tell him that he is not what happened to him and that he can re write his life script from now on but he keeps using it as an excuse. Each time we are out in public, he acts so uncomfortable that we end up going home earlier than planned. It’s beginning to affect me. Yesterday, we went to chicken republic and this man literally stood by a quiet corner with his head down even tho the place wasn’t even that crowded.
