I had a strict upbringing. Growing up, they were strict and disciplined without much love. Now, as an adult, i find it challenging to talk to children in a loving manner of correcting them when wrong. My cousin, who had three kids, kindly cautioned me and advised to correct her kids with more love so they wouldn’t run away from me. I truly love children but that made me reflect on my own life and future parenting, wondering if i would train my own kids differently and in a loving way. I feel really bad😪
