My bestie’s hubby beat her up, stripped her and put her out in the cold during her pregnancy. She informed her family who are far away in our home country, but didn’t tell me right when it happened cause she knew I’d raise hell. She told me after she had given birth and made peace with the fact that she’s leaving him. She’s financially buoyant so she’s just there to recover and cater to her newborn for now until she’s strong enough to make moves. I told her she has my full support but I’m so bitter. I couldn’t and didn’t wish them a happy anniversary like I used to. The hubby doesn’t know she told me, cause he begged her not to. Now I have to fake it when he interacts with me but funny he hasn’t noticed the energy shift. I hate him so much for doing that to my day 1 of 25 years. I’m pained.
