I’m a young Muslim adult, I lost my mother when I was in secondary school and my father has been the most delusional, selfish, ignorant and wicked a father could be. Especially after his new wife put him on leash because that’s the only explanation I have. What makes it even worse is how he puts it to my siblings face that he gets away with it because oh I’m Islam, when a child wrong his parents he/she will answer to it but nothing a parent does can be questioned. I’m a true believer and I’m all for respecting and honoring your parents but I want people to know that a lot of people suffer very toxic parenting, use Islam to cover it up and it’s killing a lot of people
