Lately, my mom & even my elderly neighbor have been encouraging me to find a partner. My neighbor once mentioned that when he was my age, he had many romantic interests. It’s led me to wonder if they see a different reality than I do, one where girls are looking for highly successful, top-of-the-line men. I’m tired of feeling like I don’t measure up in the eyes of women. I want to ensure I’m at my best mentally, financially, & physically, leaving no room for criticism.
