I grew up hating nurses so much because they contributed to my childhood trauma. One carelessly broke a needle in my buttocks when I was eleven almost damaging my limbs. Another insulted my mother on her deathbed because she had wet herself. But here I am today getting married to the most wonderful person I have ever met in my life who happens to be a nurse.
