I got married last year, my husband wasn’t in the country so he sent his mum the money to arrange the engagement list. His mum didn’t follow the list and only bought 2 ankara cloth and added her old sewn clothes to it and locked it with padlock so my family didn’t notice till the following day and saw the rubbish she bought. I still haven’t told my husband what she did (because in Islam it’s a sin to try to break a family), this makes me upset
