In very simple terms:
I keep working but nothing seems to work. Sometimes I see a glimpse of hope and I work harder, then it all comes crashing… again. I play by the rules, yet I got burnt. All I seek is a little hope to keep going on. Practical reassurance that I won’t end this way.
