I’ve always been wondering why I didn’t bleed after being abused so many times as a child, when I told my mom about the abuse years later after it occurred, she took me to a nurse and she said my virginity was still in tact so there’s no evidence of abuse. I just carried out my research and I found out that vaginal examination of the hymen can’t determine whether sexual assault has occurred.
