My housemate expressed interest in a relationship from the moment I moved in. A few weeks later he stopped doing the little things that made me consider whether it would be worth pursuing one with him. I took this as a sign he has changed his mind and withdrew as well. We then had a conversation two days ago about all this and our expectations from one another and I felt much closer to him than ever. Clearly I misinterpreted our talk because he came back to the house with a lady last night and I heard every second of their adult activities. I take responsibility for my hurt feelings and I guess we move (figuratively of course).
